    Tongling Jintai Chemical Industrial Co., Ltd. is organized by 7 corporation shares of Tongling Nonferrous Metals (Group)Inc., Anhui Industrial Investment Technological Co., Ltd., Hefei Hi-tech Technology Venture Investment and so on with 5 natural men in July, 2003. Presently, the company consists of over 100 employees, 30% of which are professional engineering technicians. Jintai's annual capacity reaches 14,000 tons of dimethyl carbonate, 11,000 tons of propylene glycol, 18,000 tons of propylene carbonate, 1000 tons of ethyl methyl carbonate, 2,000 tons of diethyl carbonate and 3,000 tons of sodium methoxide. Moreover, the company has successively developed the new projects of 500 tons of diphenyl carbonate/Y, 1000 tons of hexamethylene-1, 6-diisocyanate/Y and 3000 tons of polycarbonate/Y. Highly purified dimethyl carbonate, propylene carbonate, methyl ethyl carbonate and propylene glycol of USP grade are to be put into market after the successful industrial testing.

The company has obtained the ISO9001:2000 Quality System Certificate, ISO14001:1996 Environment System Certificate and ISO10012 Measure System Certificate ,and also owns the self-supporting right of import& export. The main products of Jintai, which are mostly exported to such countries and regions as Europe, America, Southeast Asia etc., enjoy a high occupation rate of the global market shares, and has a stable long-term relationship with power multinationals, such as Bayer, GE, Sumitomo, BASF etc. The dimethyl carbonate of the company gained "Anhui new product of 2000”,and was entitled "First Batch of Quality Trust-worthy Brands of Chinese Environmental-Protection Products" by Chinese Association of Environment Protection, China Association for Technical Supervision Information. The expanding project of annually 3,000-ton dimethyl carbonate was entitled "Anhui Example Project of High-Technology Industriallzation of 2001".The project of annually 10,000-ton production of dimethyl carbonate was one of the Anhui "Three High" projects of 2002.In july 2003, the dimethyl carbonate was nominated "Product of High and New Technology" and the company was nominated "Enterprise of High and New Technology" by Anhui Science and Technology Committee. In May 2003, the company was listed as one of the 100 "Professional, Capable, Special, New" middle or small enterprises which are specially supported by the People's Govemment of Anhui Province. This created more favorable outside environment for further development of the company.

           With a middle and long term plan of vigorously developing the down-stream products from DMC set down to make strong the DMC industrial chain, Jinati, has established close relationship on researching-teaching-producing with many well known universities and research institutes.
